We arrived on site at Creamfields 2024 the day before the festive goers to get some footage of the empty arena as a last slice of social media promotion before the festival opened.

Creamfields wanted to reveal their brand new Xenless arena, which became the biggest temporary indoor structure in Europe for the weekend, hosting a whopping 30,000 ravers. An early morning start saw us arriving on site just before sunrise. We decided to send up our trusty 5” FPV quad. This allowed us to do a lap of the main festival grounds, then quickly fly through the slingshot ride and straight into the Xenless arena. Then a lap around the inside for a sneak peek of the production and scale of the venue, and fly back out again. Afterwards, we carried on and did the same for the other main arenas in the festival, including the Arc MainStage.

The Cream marketing team asked us to edit the content for them to put out on their socials. The video went viral and was watched over 250,000 times!

Creamfields 2024

This year there were 3 teams of 2. Of each team, one would pilot the drones and one would be spotter, keeping an eye out for the drone at all times where the pilot might be focussing on getting the perfect shot. Our team was stationed at the Arc main stage. Beatport were streaming the festival all weekend, so we were plugged into their production booth and used as one of their various cameras for the live feed. As well as the live streaming, we also captured all of the footage for Creamfields marketing team.

The 3 days of festival saw us flying and capturing epic footage for the likes of Calvin Harris, Hardwell, Example, and even Robbie Williams! Although in true English Bank Holiday fashion, the weather wasn’t the best, we still managed to get the shots we needed, including the epic fireworks to close out each night of the festival.
