We arrived at Marabans UK headquarters, and immediately received our caffeine fix. Our cameras were set up and we got to work. A mixture of close-up and macro shots were captured, along with wides to take in the full scope of the machinery.

From Bean to Cup: Filming the Coffee Extraction Process

The process of coffee extraction was demonstrated and filmed, and latte art was performed. Every step of the journey from bean to cup was meticulously recorded to highlight Marabans’ dedication to quality.

All systems go

We arrived at Curborough Sprint Track in Lichfield and met Luke, the owner of Shadow Sport UK. Shadow Sport host local car meets and track days across the country

Ford Escort Mk1 RS2000

After watching a few laps, we met Gord, who commissioned us to do a video of his pristine Mk1 Escort. We went through a few details, briefed the team on security and their responsibilities, then got our FPV quad fired up and ready for action.

The chase

Our FPV quad shot into action, chasing the Ford Escort around the sprint track at break-neck speeds through the twists, turns and chicanes. The close proximity flying meant our hearts were racing and adrenaline was pumping.

Ground footage and hot lap

For the close up shots, we used our trust Sony A7Siii on a DJI gimbal, using slow, fluid movements to add contrast to the intense action of the FPV footage. We then jumped in the blue beast and went for a lap, filming in car details as we were pinned to our seats.

The result

One of the most exciting edits we have ever put together. The high energy shoot, coupled with a pumping music track provided by Neon Beach gave a thrilling, show stopping, un-scrollable video that would be watched on repeat again and again. Catch us back with Shadow Sport again this summer.
